DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Cambridge Lower Secondary provides curriculum frameworks with clear learning objectives for each subject. These provide a structure for teaching and learning and help learners develop their knowledge, understanding and skills as they progress.

The programme supports progression through the Lower Secondary years, with learning designed around the needs of learners at this stage of their education.

ASSESSMENT AND PROGRESS

Cambridge Lower Secondary offers a range of assessments to help schools understand learners’ potential, monitor their progress and identify their strengths and areas for development.

Assessment can include classroom assessment as well as Cambridge Progression Tests, which are available for Stages 7, 8 and 9 in English, mathematics and science. These internal assessments help schools check learners’ knowledge, skills and understanding.

PREPARATION FOR THE NEXT STAGE
