Study Abroad Opportunities

Thanks to a long‑standing collaboration between AG International and EF (Education First), all of our students have the chance to broaden their horizons by studying abroad during the summer holidays. This is an entirely optional experience that sits outside the normal Cambridge curriculum, but it’s one we wholeheartedly recommend to learners eager to see the world.

Summer Academy in the USA

For those who dream of American campus life, our Summer Academy in Santa Barbara, California offers an unforgettable immersion. Santa Barbara’s vibrant university scene attracts students from across the globe. Participants can choose to live in a carefully selected host family or at EF’s student residence, enhancing both language skills and cultural understanding.

Summer Academy in England

Prefer to stay closer to home? Our Bournemouth programme delivers eleven kilometres of sandy beach and a welcoming, laid‑back coastal lifestyle. You’ll strengthen your English in an idyllic setting on the south coast of England, while staying with a host family selected for their warmth and support.

Year‑Long Exchange

EF’s High School Exchange Year allows you to spend a full academic year at a high school in the United States. This experience develops independence, resilience and a deeper appreciation of global perspectives. AGI will always guarantee your place upon return, so you never lose your seat in the Cambridge pathway.

Financing and Support

Studying abroad involves costs that aren’t covered by tuition fees. We want every AGI student to have the chance to participate regardless of financial background. AGI therefore organises fundraising activities, offers guidance on external grants and funds, and helps students access up to 24 months of interest‑free student loans. Each year we also award a significant number of scholarships based on the school’s values to support those who demonstrate commitment and ambition.

Through our partnership with EF, students can apply for scholarships specifically designed to make a study‑abroad adventure more accessible. These scholarships are awarded annually—details and application links are provided through our student portal.
